        ❝Yes, GODCHILDREN.
                                        Are you truly that surprised?❞

Elsa looped their arms together and smiled at her best friend.
It was tradition for royal children to have more than one set
of godparents. It was no surprise Anna & Kristoff were one of
the sets. However, when she was selecting the other set, she
wanted to make sure that she selected people she trusted
who did she trust more than Elphaba and Captain Sparrow?

Then, when she noticed the twins attempting to fit both their heads
in Elphaba’s hat, Elsa could not help but burst into laughter. Her body
shook and her cheeks almost split her face. God above, why were her
                          children so adorable?

❝Alexander. Amelia. Don’t do that, you will ruin the hat.❞
She pulled away from Elphaba and knelt down so that she
was at their level. ❝Give me back the hat, please.❞

Thankfully, the twins listened and relinquished the hat.
Once it was in her hand, she placed it in Elphaba’s hands
before she tugged the other woman down.

❝Alright my loves, I want you to meet someone very special.
This is Elphaba & she is my best friend & your godmother.
Elphie, meet your godchildren, Amelia & Alexander.❞

As she spoke, the twins stared up at Elphaba and began to reach for her.
It was no surprise to Elsa when Amelia crawled over to Elphaba and wrapped
her tiny arms around her godmother. It didn’t take long for Alexander to do the
     same.

she stiffened at first, out of mere habit. she was so unfamiliar with
touch, especially that of a child. she expected to remain unattentive,
unfeeling, but she did not. Amelia was much gentler than she appeared,
and despite the warmer touch, reminded Elphaba so of her mother. and
little Alexander, the one who’d swiped her hat in the first place, was
coddled by her side, almost apologetically. a warm smile reached her
face, peeking up from the hugs to grin in Elsa’s direction.

“ I’d say you may call me ’ Auntie Witch , although I fear your mother
may have a heart attack if I do. Aunt Elphaba will suffice ( at least
before she and your father. Anna will not tell ! )it’s a pleasure to
to meet you more cordially, your highnesses. ”
