‘ JE PEUXvous aidez? ou vous juste aimez regarder moi? ‘
SHE seldom visits the french theatre district, but being on tour she was forced to. she spoje the langue fine, she jut didn’t really like people period. it wasn’t HIS fault, per say, but she’d make it his.
He’s noticed the woman staring at him across the room. He expected her to tell the manager but nothing. He was curious a bit. Glad she didn’t notice the camera he had concealed in his lap. His head lifts up when he hears her voice. “I’m fine, I mean I’m not I’m broke but I’m not here to eat. I’m here to film.” He says gesturing to the camera that is pointed at the couple eating in front of him. “Thanks though, that’s pretty damn nice of you.”
‘ IT’S NOTHING really. ‘
she’s scrawling unidentifiable on her napkin now, having no reason to leave, yet finding herself uncomfortable before the camera. she had performed because she was GOOD at it, it was anything but a desire for attention ( or so she told herself ). she just needed to save enough for tuition –––––––––––––––––––––––– it was all she could hold on to.
‘ FOR WHAT, do you need to film in a coffee shop? ‘
SHE’S BEENtrying to ignore him, drinking her tea absentmindedly, glancing to her watch which blared an hour until her call. she tends to minimize her speech before shows anyway, the role itself was demanding vocally, but she was hoping by the end of her run she’d have saved enough to go back to school anyway. regardless, it irked her that the man had sat there the entire time, said nothing, bought nothing. she let out a slow sigh and stirred her emptying cup.
‘ CAN I BUY you something? you’ve been sitting her nearly forty minutes. ‘
“ Right, about that–––––––– Elsa’s kinda, y'know, sorta, not here. ”
she's FLUSTERED, freckled cheeks flushing with colour at Evelyn’s brisk
attempts at dismissing her. but Evelyn clearly underestimates her, for
she's far too STUBBORN to follow another's orders, far too KIND-HEARTED
to leave another in need, and so she stays put. she hastily continues,
glossing over the minor detail of Elsa’s absense with a cheerful smile,
her perky demeanour unharmed by Evelyn’s, for lack of a better term,
GROUCHINESS.
“ But that’s okay, you’ve got ME! ”
OF COURSEshe wasn’t. how could she be so damned foolish , elsa was away, on business. all weekend. her head SPUN, hand reaching feebly for her forehead, but then falling back to her lap. she couldn’t make a scene of her weakness, her fright. not in front of anna. she forced a composed look to her face, raising her eyes again to the agonizingly optimistic redhead.
‘ RIGHT, THANKyou, anna, really. would you mind –––––––––––– getting me a glass of water? ‘
arendelian-blog: "Are you sure you peed on the stick right?" / o mg sorry not sorry
‘ ANNA, I AM not having this discussion with you. ‘
she feels FAINT all at once, the mind-numbing realization falling over her skin like cold rain, like tiny bullets. this couldn’t happen. she wouldn’t have it. color drained from her face and she sat dizzily on the sofa, cold sweat beading against her skin.
elsa’s quite tempted to toss one of theo’s toys at her friend, but she resists only because her son is in her friend’s arm. instead, she gently slapped elana’s arm as her laughter echoes. theo, as usual, smiles as she laughs & reaches for her.
with her son in her arms once again, she hands him his toys. she isn’t surprised when he reaches for the penguin & hugs it tight as he places his head on her breasts. she presses her lips on his forehead for a kiss.
❝ okay maybe she did get it from me. & a few others, but those people deserved getting a new a — getting ripped a new one. ❞
she shoes malky of the worn old sofa before plopping down on it, watching with amusement as theo cuddles into a plush penguin and begins dozing off against elsa’s chest. while elana had always been ROUGH and curt, elsa was soft, and most certainly had a ( m o t h e r l y ) quality to her. she was perhaps the ONLY person who had ever worn elana down enough to let herself be touched, protected. she was certain those kids were in good grasp.
‘ oh yes, THATI am quite sure of. in fact, teach helena to flip them off FOR you. that’s what I’d do. ‘
